This image is a resized version of file I made for DA Prints. The original file is 6000x4000 pixels with a resolution of 300. Inside Photoshop it's about 87.5 megabytes. I reduced the quality and size of this image to the one you see here to make it easier to view and download. The file for DA Prints however did not suffer from such compression and when viewed at 100% is quite stunning. This was by far the longest render I have ever done due to the large number of pixels. It took an incredible 7 Days 4 Hours 44 Minutes on a new AMD 2100+ (1.73 gigahertz). I hope you enjoy it and I always enjoy comments so please do!

Er, what's with these "it doesn't look real" comments? Of course it doesn't look real, unless they know some strange strain of chicken that poops metal eggs.

The whole concept of the image is great, and the title quite appropriate. I use Bryce 4 (won't be able to use use your tutorials until getting hold of 5), and, at least from Bryce 4's perspective, this is quite creative.

Looks very cool, and the concept is very attractive. I appreciate the effort and of course the render time involved, but it is true the image is missing a certain realism, or even surrealism injection. The ground texture may have something to do with it, or the fact that there is not quite enough smoothness to contrast with all the sharp edges.
Having said that I do love this picture and the title is disturbing and perfectly fitting. Keep it up :D (Big Grin)
